AI or nor AI

I've long been curious about how AI can expand my creative process. There's something fascinating about writing a prompt and watching an idea that once lived only in your mind take visual form—it’s like imagination materialised.

I’m also fully aware of the concerns: copyright, ethical boundaries, and the risk of creativity becoming homogenised. But curiosity gets the better of me, and I find myself exploring where this new tool might lead.

The experiment below explores the relationship between idea and illustration. Sometimes they walk hand in hand; other times, the concept evolves on its own, taking on new styles and directions that help me test the boundaries of each medium.

I revisited some pieces from my Photo Invasion series—both old and new—to imagine how they might look without my usual characters. I also had fun visualising what my illustrated characters might be like if they existed in the real world.
